Oregon Area First Responders' Honors with Colors presentation by VFW Post 10272, singing of our National Anthem, a fly over by Medflight's helicopter, antique fire trucks, extrication demonstration, side X side sprinkler demonstration, stop the bleed demonstration, and, for the children; tiny fire fighting hoses, bounce house and face painting.

Buffet dinner provided  by J L Richards at 4:45 pm at no cost to approximately 400 current & former Oregon area first responders and their families at no cost. Area residents can purchase a meal ticket for $15.00 and enjoy the same.

Speakers to include Mr. Phil Van Kampen, Oregon Village president, Mr. Paul Ninneman, Deputy Warden Oakhill Correctional Institution and members of the event's steering committee.

Awards presentations by Mr. Glenn Linzmeier, Oregon Area Fire-EMS District Chief and Jennifer Pagenkopf, Oregon Police Chief.

Gift presentations by the event sponsers, Oregon Freemasons, Oregon Chapter 49 of the Order of Eastern Star and Oregon - Brooklyn Optimists Club.

The Oregon - Brooklyn Historical Society will also hold a raffle to win a beautiful hand crafted quilt.
